My birthday was a Sunday this year. Some friends from the church threw me a surprise birthday dinner party! They brought the dinner and the party! We had white spaghetti (white sauce made with evaporated milk) and games. It was my very first surprise party and I loved it! So thoguthful...they are the best.
On the 9th we went out to eat Mofongo, Davey's fav dominican food (basically plantains fried, mashed, and made into a ball).
Since our birthdays are so close together we always plan something big! This year we decided we'd do a road trip to a gorgeous waterfall with some friends. My BFF Mel was coming into town so we planned it the week she was here. We took our first road trip, saw some of the most beautiful views and fell in love with the country all over again. Really, there's not many words to explain so I'll just show you some pics....
We drove about 4 hours, hiked 1 hour, and then stopped by the beach on the way home.
